What does quality mean?
For us it is twofold, Quality Control and Quality Assurance. First, do the parts we manufacture meet specifications? Second, are we making the parts in a consistent and correct way?
Quality Control - How do we know we are making good parts?
We have a well-equipped environmentally controlled quality control department. Some of our equipment includes two (2) coordinate measurement machines (CMM), precision digital height gages, a full complement of gage pins, thread gages, Micrometers, Calipers, Comparator, bore gages and more to handle pretty much any measurement need. We can also provide inspection reports and certificates of conformance as required. Inspection is built into the manufacturing process. We require the first piece completed at each operation to be inspected before moving on with the manufacture of the remaining parts. Further, final inspections are performed before parts are released to the customer. Does all this mean every part we make is perfect? Of course not, the key is to identify deviations and only deliver the best quality parts to the customer.
Quality Assurance – The process that leads to consistent quality
For the customer that has more stringent quality requirements for their vendors we have worked very hard over the years to establish process to control the workflow through the shop in an organized and efficient manner. To that end Kennley Corporation has been certified to ISO 9001:2015 by TUV Rheinland North America, Inc.
Our quality policy is founded on principles of excellence, expert manufacturing techniques, and superior customer service: We at Kennley Corporation are determined to get you the quality machined parts you need, when you need them. To do this, we constantly evaluate and update our methods and systems to better serve your needs.
We use a formally documented Quality Management System that drives our processes, ensures compliance, and embodies our core business principles, using quality data to drive continual quality improvement.
We routinely measure our customers' satisfaction, compare it to our key performance metrics, and use this information to improve both our processes and performance.
